As part of the GRAPE project, CEAPRED conducted a 3-day Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) Training in Surkhet and Dailekh districts of Karnali province with an aim to equip lead farmers with the latest knowledge and practical skills in CRA practices from June 12 to 14, 2024. The training session was facilitated to 35 lead farmers by a diverse group of trainers from Agriculture and Forestry Ministry (AFU), Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC), and Directorate of Agriculture Development (DOAD). During this session, the trainers encouraged the adoption of sustainable farming practices to ensure long-term environmental sustainability including a briefing on understanding the impacts of climate change.
