The GRAPE project organized diagnostic workshops on the last Business Climate Survey (BCS) in eight sub-metropolitan cities and municipalities (Butwal, Nepalgunj, Barahatal, Bheriganga, Dullu, Naumule, Bhairabi, and Bhagwatimai). These workshops aim to dive deeply into the survey results at the level of the indicators. The focus is on pinpointing shortcomings and jointly developing recommendations for measures to improve economic governance in a targeted way.

Municipal elected and non-elected officials and representatives from the private and cooperative sectors joined the events to discuss options to improve the business environment of their city or municipality. BCS diagnostic workshops in the remaining BCS municipalities will be organized soon.
