GRAPE Green Marketing Workshop

In today's rapidly evolving world, the rise of environmentally conscious consumers has spurred the demand for sustainable products and services, giving rise to Green Marketing – a strategic approach aligning business values with sustainability. In Nepal, where environmental challenges such as rapid urbanization, industrialization, and climate change are pressing concerns, adapting to this trend is crucial.

To address these challenges, #GRAPE in collaboration with Ecociate, a knowledge organization based in India, organized a one-day workshop on 14 May 2024 in Kathmandu to empower stakeholders with essential green marketing strategies tailored to the agricultural context. The Workshop brought together agri-businesses, lead farmers, cooperatives, farmer associations, young entrepreneurs, and NGO representatives working with farmers. The diverse group of participants and the meaningful discussions made the workshop a significant step toward fostering sustainable agricultural practices in Nepal, while also highlighting the need for more such initiatives.
