As part of the GRAPE project, ICIMOD and Mid-West University organized a stakeholder workshop to facilitate the designing of B.Sc. Environmental Sciences curriculum from July 18-19, 2024, in Surkhet.

The workshop was held with an objective to develop a comprehensive and relevant curriculum for the students, ensuring that it is robust, interdisciplinary, and equipped to address contemporary environmental challenges. The university offers courses like Ecology, Biodiversity Management, Watershed Management, Natural Resources Management etc, where GRAPE’s focus topics such as Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA), ecosystem management, springshed management can be integrated in the curriculum.
