GRAPE in collaboration with District Cooperatives Union DCU, Dailekh, conducted a 12-day Off-Seasonal Vegetable Production Training in four municipalities of Dailekh district (Dullu, Bhagwatimai, Bhairabi and Naumule) from June 10-13, 2024. A total of 60 lead and commercial farmers from cooperatives participated in the training where they were given theoretical sessions as well as on-site practical demonstration at their respective farming fields.

The training aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and enhancing community-level vegetable production and equipped farmers with advanced techniques such as off-seasonal vegetable cultivation, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), disease and nutrient management, and post-harvest technologies. The farmers received the training well and are highly motivated to apply these new skills, which are expected to significantly reflect in their productivity and income. Through collaboration with cooperatives in Nepal, we aim to contribute to building a better future for all.
