4.3% of the households in the project locations of GRAPE have family members living with disabilities. These family members face prejudice and exclusion and are often assumed to be incapable of doing agricultural work. When developing more climate-resilient agricultural value chains, we support the inclusion of people with disabilities.

An entrepreneur with a disability received support from the GRAPE project in order to commercialize the production of a local breed of chicken and quail at Pawan Pasupanchi and Badel Farm. Support included technical advice and the cofinancing of hatchery machines and well-equipped tunnels for poultry farming.
