Supported by the GRAPE, in collaboration with the Himalayan University Consortium (HUC) and Agricultural and Forestry University (AFU), ICIMOD organized a two-day workshop in Chitwan, uniting academia’s driving forces. From Vice-Chancellors, professors to senior scientists, participants explored the integration of climate-resilient agricultural technologies into higher education curricula.

Sensitizing about climate change's impact on agriculture, charting pathways for curriculum integration, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration were the key goals. The workshop aimed to bridge gaps in the systematic planning and coordination of climate-resilient strategies in education. It also sought to enhance instructors' practical experience, ensuring a holistic approach to climate-resilient education.
