Supported by the GRAPE programme, farmers in Bajura and Dailekh recently completed comprehensive training in off-seasonal vegetable farming, with a focus on poly house technology. The training comprised more than 60 participants, also including representatives from municipalities and local resource persons (LRP's).

The training covered soil management, nursery care, irrigation, fertilizer application, pest control, and discussed various types of plastic houses and tunnels for climate-resilient farming. Through demonstrations, farmers gained insights into plastic house design, layout planning and construction.
