Pickle-Making Training for Women Entrepreneurs

GRAPE organised a seven-day pickle-making training session for women entrepreneurs from Surkhet and Dailekh from August 25 to 31, 2024 in Birendranagar, Surkhet.
The participants learned to make 12 different varieties of pickles such as Sichuan pepper (Timur), Fenugreek (Methi), Red Cherry Pepper (Akbare Khursani) etc along with techniques for packaging and preservation. The training aimed to empower the women entrepreneurs by enhancing their skills in value addition and food processing, providing opportunities for additional income .
