The Women’s Academy for Leadership kicked-off last week through three-day residential workshops from 3-5 January at Tewa Center, Lalitpur Nepal. Women leaders from 19 different civil society organisations took part under the GRAPE (Green Resilient Agricultural Productive Ecosystem) project.

The Women’s Academy for Leadership is a leadership platform dedicated to female development professionals and staff members engaged in tasks related to agricultural programming at the federal and provincial levels (in Karnali & Sudurpaschim).

It aims to promote female leadership in climate-resilient agriculture and promotion of agri-extension services friendly to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI).

The academy will continue strengthening the leadership journey of female leaders over next 7 months.
