Through its first field of action, "Economic Governance," GRAPE supports the role of municipalities in improving framework conditions for green local economic development with a focus on climate-resilient agricultural value chains. The project does so by facilitating multistakeholder dialogues, identifying development priorities, bringing them into the planning process, and implementing the selected measures jointly with partner municipalities. The project also creates opportunities for learning and cooperation among the municipal-level stakeholders; municipalities take these into account in their planning processes.
