Joint learning and monitoring visit
GRAPE uses joint Learning and Monitoring Visits together with its numerous partners to foster collaborative learning and for improving the ongoing implementation of the programme. A first Learning and Monitoring Visit took place in our partner municipalities in the districts of Surkhet, Dailekh, and Bajura.

Female students in fields of STEM participated in introductory training on CRA
A group of 31 female students pursuing their academic studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) participated in a one-day introductory training on climate resilient agriculture (CRA) and a guided exposure visit to the ICIMOD Living Mountain Lab with support from GRAPE action.
An exposure visit for mayor and municipal officials in ICIMOD Living Mountain Lab
Last week, we welcomed around 40 Mayors and other municipal officials from 20 municipalities located throughout Sudurpaschim and Karnali for an Exposure visit to our Living Mountain Lab at Godavari.

Together with Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city, the LPED-GRAPE program facilitated discussion on the final draft of Nepalgunj's Economic Development Strategy (EDS), which highlighted sub-sector potentials, development priorities, and pathways to realize the desired future scenario of the sub-metropolitan city.
Soil Solarization training for farming households in Himali, Bajura
As part of the GRAPE project, 30 farming households in Himali, Bajura have received a training on soil solarization – an innovative method of treating soil to control pests and diseases.
